We are very proud of our extremely successful scholarship program. Our goal is to support, promote, and recognize academic achievement. For the past ten years we have raised over $300,000 to fund our scholarship program. Over that period of time we have been able to support over thirty Dorsey students attending two year and four year educational institutions throughout the United States. For example we have had students attend Trade Tech, UCLA, Long Beach State, Boston University, Howard University, Brown University Vanguard University, and UC Berkeley. In 2013 we actually had all five of our scholarship awardees attend UCLA.

With the exception of our one time awards, all of our scholarships are renewal for a period of two or four consecutive years as long as the awardee is enrolled full time in an accredited educational institution.

Our scholarship program is an integral part of mission to support Dorsey High School Students. As such, we encourage donations in order to enable us to continue to maintain this extremely successful program. Listed below you will find the scholarships we offer under our program. • 20th Century Alumni Howard Weitzman Scholarship– Awarded to students in the Sports Medicine and Law Magnet
